The cascade is located in the southern region of Mauritius, within the Black River Gorge National Park. There are several entrances to the park, but the start of the trail to this waterfall is at the viewpoint at Alexandra Falls.
From Alexander Falls, the trail takes approximately 40 minutes one way.

The best time to visit the 500 feet waterfall is between May and November, during the dry season in Mauritius. During this time, there is less rainfall, making it safer and more comfortable to walk the trails. The weather during this period is also cool enough and pleasant enough for long hikes.
How to get there
