Bel Ombre beach
Updated: September 9, 2024
Belle Ombre is a picturesque beach located on the southwest coast of Mauritius. This region is known for its natural beauty, secluded beaches and tranquil atmosphere. Bel Ombre beach is characterized by long sandy stretches, fringed with tropical greenery and cazaurines, and of course crystal clear water.
The sand on the beach is light and soft, with a golden hue. It is pleasant to the touch and perfect for walking barefoot. Although it is not as white as some other resorts in Mauritius, you will still have an unforgettable experience.
Beach infrastructure
A parking lot with local fast food is located near the beach. There are not many restaurants or stores on the beach itself, so for additional amenities such as food or entertainment, it is better to focus on the service of hotels. Tourists who are not staying in hotels can use the beach areas, but basic amenities such as sun beds and umbrellas are only available to hotel guests.
